WHAT IS THE MINISTRY OF "JESUS LOVES YOU?"
Jesus Loves You was birthed from a vision the Lord gave to Pastor Francis, following God’s encouragement through a friend at a Pastor's Conference that God was going to do a new thing in his ministry when he got home. The Lord then confirmed to Francis to reach out to the Waianae community with His love, to let them know that He cared about them, showing him three important things: 1) To just be obedient, go and do it, and HE would do the rest. 2) That he couldn't do it by himself. And, 3) That it would be just the beginning. What resulted were outreaches to several communities through Jesus Loves You Waianae (twice), Jesus Loves You Waimanalo (twice), Jesus Loves You North Shore, Jesus Loves You Honolulu (twice), and Jesus Loves You Wahiawa.
There are two aspects of the ministry of Jesus Loves You.
1) COMMUNITY EVENTS:
WOMEN'S OUTREACH BRUNCH - Women are encouraged to bring their non-Christian friends to a special brunch where we have Christian music, hula, wonderful fellowship, and a message by Patty Kamahele.
"SHORTS & SLIPPAHS" FREE MEN’S OUTREACH BREAKFAST - We also have a Men’s Outreach Breakfast where great food and special music is provided along with a message by Pastor Francis. It's a great opportunity for the men to bring a friend to hear the Good News!
OUTREACH TO THOSE IN NEED - Through the kind and generous giving of others, in the past three years, we have been privileged to distribute 15,000 hygiene gift kits, 7 tons of food, thousands of pairs of sunglasses, and hundreds of boxes of clothing to the homeless living on the beaches, those in need, as well as to various transitional shelters on our island. Several palettes of much needed school supplies have also been donated to local schools and over 600 school supply school bag supplies to keiki in need.
FREE DINNER & CONCERT - There is a great evening of great Christian music, a delicious free dinner, inspirational hula, and a special Gospel message by Pastor Francis giving people an opportunity to receive the Lord.
FREE KEIKI CARNIVAL & GOSPEL PRESENTATIONS -
A Keiki Carnival with jumpers, games, keiki rides, Gospel bracelet craft, face painting and lots of great food takes place on Saturday. Each and everything is free of charge as the families enjoy a day of fun just for them! Throughout the day, everything closes down and families enter into a big tent to enjoy special presentations such as: Christian martial arts, an awesome magic show, and rope jumpers. At each venue, the Gospel is presented to all and in past outreaches we have seen hundreds of boys, girls, and families respond to receive Jesus into their lives. What a joy this is to witness and it’s what Jesus Loves You is all about! A prayer tent and free food and clothing distribution center are also available to all. Those who come to the Lord are then plugged into the local Calvary Chapel in the area.
2) EVANGELISTIC OUTREACHES:
Another aspect of the ministry of Jesus Loves You are our free admission evangelistic outreach events.
Jesus Loves You Honolulu was held at the Waikiki Shell Amphitheater in 2009. It involved outreaches to those in need, the men’s and women’s outreaches, and a special free evangelistic concert. Musical guests Crystal Lewis, The Katinas, and Terry and Nancy Clark shared their gifts of music. There was a beautiful inspirational hula followed by a Gospel message by Pastor Francis.
This year, Jesus Loves You Honolulu took place at the Stan Sheriff Center on the campus of the University of Hawaii. This evangelistic outreach included musical recording artists, The Katinas, Multi-Dove Award Winner Jaci Valasquez and her husband Nic Gonzales lead singer for the group, Salvador, as well as local group, Olivia The Band. There was special inspirational hula and a Gospel message by Pastor Francis, where many responded to make a decision for the Lord.
Churches all around our island were involved in this outreach by prayer, by volunteering, and by attending with family and friends.
We are excited to stand shoulder to shoulder to reach out to others with the Good News, especially those in need of the Lord’s great love.

We also believe it is a privilege to help support other ministries who are reaching out with the love and Good News of Jesus Christ and we do so through the following Christian organizations. (You may read more about these ministries by logging on to the website addresses provided).
Honoring the strengths and diversities of different cultures, Alliance for Children Everywhere works with God’s people across the lines of race, nationality and denomination to bring orphans and vulnerable children into healthy families, schools and communities. This Christian non-profit organization develops and operates grassroots interventions that display the love of Jesus Christ by meeting the spiritual, social, and physical needs of outcast children.
Some members of our fellowship, Don and Jane Hart, traveled to Zambia to minister to those in need with the love of Jesus. They worked at “The House of Moses,” which provides 24-hour nursing care for pre-mature and high-risk infants. Most of these children have lost their mothers. Without House of Moses they would have little chance of surviving. Don and Jane also traveled to several villages providing needed food and supplies.
“Change 4 Children” is also a ministry of Alliance for Children Everywhere. These are baskets which are handmade by women villagers. We place our change in it each day and at the end of the month it is counted and sent to support the needy children of Zambia.
Compassion International exists as a Christian child advocacy ministry that releases children from spiritual, economic, social and physical poverty and enables them to become responsible, fulfilled Christian adults. Founded by Rev. Everett Swanson in 1952, Compassion began providing Korean war orphans with food, shelter, education and health care, as well as Christian training. Today, Compassion helps more than 728,800 children in more than 20 countries. Our fellowship now sponsors three of these children. We know it will make a difference...one child at a time.
KID'S CARE MISSION
This special ministry provides hot meals and school supplies to needy children in the Philippines, specifically Bais City. These children are ministered to by a loving family, the Pinos, who provide for their physical needs as well as their spiritual ones. We delight in being able to assist these little ones who are so very precious in our Lord’s sight.
Silent Voices is a biblically-based abortion alternative program that allows the expectant mother biblical counsel, pre-natal care, screening and other hands on services. It also helps in showing the expectant mother an alternative to abortion.
Started in 1986, Sharon Pearce has dedicated herself to the sanctity of life and love toward the expectant mother. Her experiences have been blessed by God as there are now Silent Voices Centers in Zambia, Romania, Israel, three in Russia and soon to be in India. Isaiah 54:1-6 was the basis of Sharon’s calling to the ministry that has saved the lives of thousands of babies over the years of it’s existence.
